Basketball Game Preview: Braggs Wildcats vs. Keota Lions

Braggs is 0-3 against Keota since January of 2020 but things could change on Monday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Braggs Wildcats duke it out with the Keota Lions at 6:00 p.m. Braggs will be strutting in after a win while Keota will be coming in after a defeat.

Braggs took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Bokoshe, posting a 54-19 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Wildcats have posted since November 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, Keota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a hard 45-27 fall against Gans.

Braggs' victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Keota, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Braggs might still be hurting after the 46-21 loss they got from Keota when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Braggs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
