Volleyball Recap: Castle Takes a Loss

Castle had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Castle still got an impressive performance from Karsyn Wilhelmus, who had 11 digs and two assists. Wilhelmus has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Finley Dakin was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs and two assists.

Tri-West Hendricks has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Castle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Avon on the 16th. As for Tri-West Hendricks, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Providence on the 16th.
