Basketball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Lawrence North Wildcats

Two dominant guards in Joslyn Bricker and Kya Hurt are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Warsaw comes in on eight and Lawrence North on nine.

Warsaw is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They secured a 67-61 W over Hamilton Southeastern.

Warsaw got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooke Zartman out in front who to rack up 25 points. Zartman continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Winchester, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lawrence North faced Pike in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Lawrence North beat Pike by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 45-44.

Warsaw's win bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Lawrence North, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
