Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Falcons vs. Leesville Road Pride

Two dominant guards in Olivia Yancey and Chloe Fulk are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Jordan Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Leesville Road Pride at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jordan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Jordan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 59-24 victory over Wake Forest. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yancey, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Valerie-Ange Batta, who put up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Leesville Road had to suffer through a 64-20 loss at the hands of Rolesville. The contest marked the Pride's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Leesville Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Jordan couldn't quite finish off Leesville Road in their previous meeting back in November of 2021 and fell 44-42. Thankfully for Jordan, Kandace Daniels (who earned 29 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
