Baseball Game Preview: Penfield Patriots vs. Webster Schroeder Warriors

The Penfield Patriots will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Webster Schroeder Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Penfield's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Webster Schroeder's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Penfield didn't have quite enough to beat Tuscarora and fell 8-7. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Ethan Light and Jacob Natale did some serious damage despite the final result: Light went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run, while Natale got on base in five of his six plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. That run marked the first that Light has scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Reyes, who went 2-for-5 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Webster Schroeder got the win against Vaughn on Monday by a conclusive 11-1.

The win got Webster Schroeder back to even at 2-2. As for Penfield, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
