Basketball Recap: Pembroke's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pembroke won the last time they faced Elba and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pembroke Dragons came out on top against the Elba Lancers by a score of 40-30. The 40-point effort marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory (which was Pembroke's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Elba, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
