Allegany dropped their record down to 8-4 on Monday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Frankfort Falcons by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Campers have suffered since May 17, 2024.

As for Frankfort, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games.

For Frankfort's part, Rhett Sensabaugh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Blake Jacobs, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Looking ahead, Allegany will take on GVCS Broadfording at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Hampshire at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
