The Trojans lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 30-8 score last time.
Caney Valley wouldn't let Morrison keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Caney Valley can thank Sam Pitts and Ethan Brown for forcing both of them. Pitts is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.
Caney Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Morrison, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Caney Valley is taking a road trip to take on Pawhuska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pawhuska is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Caney Valley will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Morrison, they will take on Quapaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
