Basketball Recap: Williamsville North Comes Up Short

Williamsville North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lancaster Legends 80-33. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-15.

Madison Francis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lancaster, dropping a triple-double on 33 points, 11 boards, and 13 steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Francis has scored at least a third of Lancaster's points.

Williamsville North's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lancaster, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jamestown the next time they take the court. Williamsville North will head out to face Jamestown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Lancaster will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
