Basketball Recap: Gateway Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gateway lost against Smoky Hill back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Olympians were outmatched by the Buffaloes and fell 69-7. The Olympians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ari Boyd continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Smoky Hill, putting up 31 points. The game was Boyd's fifth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Leilani Gordon, who posted 17 points.

Gateway's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Smoky Hill, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Gateway will be home for the holidays to greet Northglenn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smoky Hill, they will take on Adams City in a tournament on Saturday.
