Softball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Milton's offense. They fell just short of the Fort Walton Beach Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

Milton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlyn Sutton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Fort Walton Beach, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Milton by a score of 11-5 later that day.
