Soccer Game Preview: Rangeview vs. Montbello

The Rangeview Raiders will head out to take on the Montbello Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Rangeview fell victim to Denver North and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 7-0. Rangeview have struggled against Denver North recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Montbello also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to Hinkley on Wednesday.

Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Montbello, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1.

Everything went Rangeview's way against Montbello when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Rangeview made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
