Softball Recap: Boyle County Comes Up Short

Boyle County was the 13-4 winner over West Jessamine when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels lost 13-7 to the Colts on Tuesday. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boyle County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for West Jessamine, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Looking ahead, Boyle County will take on Casey County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Jessamine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mercer County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colts' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
