Softball Recap: Dymally Challengers vs. Crenshaw Cougars

It was a good run, but Dymally unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 8-4 to the Crenshaw Cougars. Dymally was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crenshaw apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.

Danah Albarran put in work no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over six innings while giving up five earned runs off only one hit. Albarran has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Albarran was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run.

In other batting news, Kaylen Ortega made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Angie Lopez was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and a double.
