Softball Recap: Dymally Challengers vs. Crenshaw Cougars
It was a good run, but Dymally unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 8-4 to the Crenshaw Cougars. Albarran has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Albarran was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run.
In other batting news, Kaylen Ortega made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Angie Lopez was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and a double.
Dymally's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Crenshaw, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
