Baseball Recap: Louisburg Takes a Loss

Louisburg managed to slip by Carrboro the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Louisburg Warriors came up short against the Carrboro Jaguars on Friday, falling 14-4. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

John Lucas Anselmo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.

Louisburg now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Carrboro, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Louisburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-12 loss against Tarboro on the 11th. As for Carrboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability on the 11th.
