Football Recap: Samuel Schlegel Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Pea Ridge

Alma won the last time they faced Pea Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Airedales strolled past the Blackhawks with points to spare, taking the game 35-20. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Airedales.

Alma's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samuel Schlegel, who rushed for 40 yards and three scores, and also picked up 163 receiving yards. That's the most receiving yards Schlegel has posted since back in October of 2024. Another passer making a difference was Jay Lemieux, who threw for 291 yards and one TD while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.

Alma's record is now 4-5. As for Pea Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
