Texas senior John Hendricks selected as the MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week

Frost High School standout ran for 358 yards and seven touchdowns in win over Meridian.

Senior running back John Hendricks of Frost (Texas) is the MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week.

In a 50-42 win over Meridian on Sept. 3, Hendricks ran 26 times for 358 yards and seven touchdowns. The trips to the end zone included runs of 85, 55 and 46 yards.

Hendricks and the Polar Bears are scheduled to take the field again Friday, Sept. 10 against Granger.
