Recap: Cimarron Bluejays vs. Scott Beavers
The Cimarron Bluejays lost against the Scott Beavers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Cimarron fell to Scott 51-47. Cimarron has struggled against Scott recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Scott got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Rumford out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Sage Stoecklein was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Scott, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Goodland the next time they take the court. Scott will head out to face Goodland at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Cimarron will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
