Basketball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence was the 61-38 winner over Frisco when they last played one another back in January of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 65-52 to the Raccoons on Tuesday. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Independence now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Frisco, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Independence will welcome Lebanon Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Trail Blazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.76 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Frisco, they will face off against Memorial at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Raccoons will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
