Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Wins Going Away Against Field

Roosevelt won the last time they faced Field and things went their way on Monday too. The Roosevelt Rough Riders strolled past the Field Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. The Rough Riders pushed the score to 46-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.

When it comes to explaining why Field lost, don't look at Delilah Rahe. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards. Rahe has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mckayla Miller, who posted eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Field, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

When Roosevelt and Field next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Roosevelt will try to stop Tallmadge's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Field will try to stop Cloverleaf's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
