Ironton is 9-1 against Rock Hill since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fighting Tigers will welcome the Redmen at 5:30 p.m. Ironton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Ironton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Chesapeake 20-3 on Monday. The Fighting Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Aubrey Ferguson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Ferguson was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Khamil Martin was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had over her last 11 contests. Ryleigh Kouns was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Ironton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive matches.

Rock Hill not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7th (when they won 6-0). Everything went their way against South Point as they made off with an 8-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redmen.

Rock Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Ironton, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Ironton beat Rock Hill 9-5 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Fighting Tigers repeat their success, or do the Redmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
