Volleyball Recap: Helena Takes a Loss

Helena was the 2-0 winner over Gardendale when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 2-0 to the Rockets on Saturday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sydney Strawbridge paced Helena's offense, picking up six kills. Strawbridge got some help from Avery Cantley and her nine assists.

Helena's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Gardendale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Helena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hewitt-Trussville on the 27th. Gardendale has also already played their next match (against Tuscaloosa County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
