Fort Frye came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the River Pilots by a score of 63-56. The Cadets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pilots, too.

Fort Frye's record now sits at 9-12. As for River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Looking ahead, Fort Frye won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Waterford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River, they will take on Shadyside in a tournament on Friday. River is facing Shadyside at the right time seeing as Shadyside is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
