            Baseball Recap: Steele Canyon Cougars vs. Mission Hills Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Steele Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  6-1 to the Mission Hills Grizzlies. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing  15-2 to the Grizzlies when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Steele Canyon got a good showing from  Nick Marcon, who   tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits.
 At the plate,  Tommy Rimoldi was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.  Andrew Bravo also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
Steele Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Mission Hills, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Cougars coming up. San Ysidro's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so Steele Canyon's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mission Hills, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Santa Fe Christian  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
