Volleyball Recap: Travis Comes Up Short

Travis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lago Vista Vikings, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Travis was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lago Vista's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-20.

Travis' loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Lago Vista, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 21-21.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Travis is set to square off against their familiar foe Austin Achieve at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lago Vista will take on rival Manor New Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
