Basketball Recap: Emerson Comes Up Short

If Emerson was riding high fresh off their 69-48 takedown of Bogota last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Emerson Cavaliers lost 63-39 to the Cresskill Cougars on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cavaliers have suffered against the Cougars since January 13, 2020.

Having lost for the first time this season, Emerson fell to 2-1. As for Cresskill, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Emerson will take on Bergen Charter in a holiday battle at at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Cresskill, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cliffside Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
