The Riverside Vikings will challenge the Dunmore Bucks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Riverside will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Honesdale on Wednesday. The Vikings blew past the Hornets 12-1. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Kate Reynolds and Adi Odzana did most of the damage at the plate: Reynolds went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Odzana went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave Odzana a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Clara Sandly, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Riverside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Dunmore never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lakeland on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Chiefs.
Rachel Walsh made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Walsh was even better at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Jaclyn Brown was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Mia Riley was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Riverside moved to 7-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Dunmore, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Riverside hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Dunmore struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
