Basketball Recap: Gateway Regional Triumphs

Gateway Regional proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 46) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over the Palmyra Panthers. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The win got Gateway Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Palmyra, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gateway Regional will face off against Collingswood at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Palmyra, they will take on Bordentown at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
