Miyamura is 8-2 against Kirtland Central since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Broncos at 6:00 p.m. Miyamura is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Miyamura is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chinle.

Felix Lopez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Lopez wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Ashley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another was Seth Torres, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Broncos on Friday. Kirtland Central came up short against San Juan, falling 14-1. Kirtland Central hasn't had much luck with San Juan recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kirtland Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Miyamura, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Miyamura was able to grind out a solid win over Kirtland Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 6-2. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
