Softball Recap: Cameron County Takes a Loss

Cameron County fell victim to Cowanesque Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 23-0 to the Indians. The loss leaves the Raiders still looking for their first win of the season.

Cameron County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cowanesque Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Cameron County will face off against Port Allegany at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cowanesque Valley, they will be playing at home against Williamson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
