After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Simla, Wiggins was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Akron Rams. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Wiggins was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-18, 25-10.

Brooke Schmidt paced Wiggins' offense, picking up 12 kills. Schmidt got some help from Jaydin Busch and her 21 assists. Karsyn Kerr controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Wiggins is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Akron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Wiggins will host Sedgwick County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Akron, they will take on Otis on Saturday.
