Basketball Recap: Brick Township Wins Going Away Against Central Regional

Brick Township won against Toms River East last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Brick Township Green Dragons strolled past the Central Regional Golden Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 52-36. This was payback for the Green Dragons, who suffered a 25-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Brick Township and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Central Regional, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Brick Township and Lakewood will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Central Regional, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lacey Township at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
