Softball Recap: Brewer Has No Trouble Against Mt. Ararat

Brewer got themselves on the board against Mt. Ararat on Thursday, but Mt. Ararat never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 11-0. The Witches haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jordin Williams was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Bragdon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Brewer's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Mt. Ararat, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brewer is set to face off against their familiar foe Hampden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Ararat will square off against rival Edward Little at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
