Baseball Recap: Upper Arlington Comes Up Short

Upper Arlington fell victim to Olentangy Orange and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Upper Arlington and nudges their season record down to 9-8. As for Olentangy Orange, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Upper Arlington is set to face off against their familiar foe Olentangy Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Olentangy Orange will take on rival Dublin Coffman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
