            Volleyball Recap: Willis Wildkats vs. Grand Oaks Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Willis lost against Grand Oaks back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Wildkats came up short against  the Grizzlies, falling  3-0. The Wildkats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 While Willis was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13,  25-23.
 Despite the  defeat, Willis saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  AUDRA WOOD  had 15  digs.
  Cali Reece had a dynamite game For Grand Oaks.,  getting 18  digs and six  assists. That's the most  digs  Reece has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cambrie Cavanaugh, who  had 14 assists and five  digs.
Willis' loss dropped their record down to 22-20. As for Grand Oaks, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 20 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-8 record  this season.
 Willis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Oaks, they will venture away from home to  face off against Caney Creek  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
