Oceanside is 8-2 against Mount View since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mariners will head out to face off against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Oceanside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Oceanside took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-40 victory over Belfast.

Meanwhile, Mount View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over the Eagles.

Mount View's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Oceanside, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Everything came up roses for Oceanside against Mount View when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 107-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mariners since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
