Soccer Recap: Festus Takes a Loss

Festus's game on Wednesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Winfield Warriors by a score of 3-2. Festus haven't had much luck with Winfield recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Festus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Winfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Festus will head out on the road to take on Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winfield, they will host Canton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
