Archbishop Hoban faced Glenville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tarblooders 12-9. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Archbishop Hoban's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Glenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Hoban will welcome Central York at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven games. As for Glenville, they will host John Hay at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. John Hay's defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so Glenville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
