With a playoff win on the line, Lakewood rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down the Pamlico County Hurricanes 74-55. Winning may never get old, but the Leopards sure are getting used to it with their 22nd in a row.

Lakewood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Hall led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Hall is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Dashaun Carr was another key player, shooting 56% from the field to rack up 17 points and six assists.

Lakewood pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Pamlico County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Lakewood has already played their next match, a 52-42 defeat against Bertie on the 28th. Pamlico County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
