Soccer Recap: DeKalb Comes Up Short

DeKalb managed to keep up with Bellmont until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Barons lost 3-0 to the Braves. DeKalb have struggled against Bellmont recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Bellmont, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

DeKalb has already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers on the 30th. As for Bellmont, they will face off against New Haven at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th.
