Baseball Recap: Patrick County Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Patrick County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Radford Bobcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Patrick County pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Radford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season.

Patrick County will square off against Dan River at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Radford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
