Basketball Recap: Kinston Takes a Loss

Kinston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pleasant Home Eagles, falling 75-51. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Eagles are ranked 161st).

Kinston's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Pleasant Home, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Kinston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant Home, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Florala at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Florala has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
