Basketball Recap: Brantley Piles Up the Points Against Red Level

Brantley was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Red Level on Tuesday. The Brantley Bulldogs took their game with ease, bagging a 46-12 victory over the Red Level Tigers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brantley to victory, but perhaps none more so than CoCo Stamps, who posted 12 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Stamps has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 35 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Grimes, who scored 13 points and three steals.

Brantley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 20 consecutive matches.

Brantley's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Red Level, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-22.

Brantley will welcome Highland Home at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Level does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
