Baseball Game Preview: Millis Mohawks vs. Hopedale Blue Raiders

The Millis Mohawks will head out on the road to challenge the Hopedale Blue Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Millis took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Dover-Sherborn, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mohawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Raiders on Wednesday.

Millis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Morse, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Morse a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Hopedale took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past Keefe Tech 8-1. The Blue Raiders not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024.
