It was a proper cat-fight when Pine Grove took on Belmont on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.

The win made it two in a row for Pine Grove and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. As for Belmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Pine Grove is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Ingomar at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belmont, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on North Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
