Volleyball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Scottsdale Christian Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northwest Christian Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-20.

Trevor Fortuin paced Scottsdale Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Fortuin got some help from Ethan Davidson and his 15 assists. Davidson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Northwest Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.
