Scottsbluff has gone 8-2 against Kearney Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bearcats will square off against the Stars at 5:00 p.m. Scottsbluff is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Scottsbluff's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Gering as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Scottsbluff, who have now won three matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Gering from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Adriel Rubio led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Kearney Catholic came up short against Hastings on Tuesday, falling 5-2.

Scottsbluff's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Kearney Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Scottsbluff couldn't quite get it done against Kearney Catholic in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
