Big Valley Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Golden Sierra Grizzlies 4-0 on Thursday. Karlie Powell was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Big Valley Christian, bringing their record for this year to 13-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matches. As for Golden Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Big Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Ripon Christian on the 22nd. Golden Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
