Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders. If the Crimson Tide were looking for revenge after losing 19-2 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lancaster Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia will square off against rival Annville-Cleona at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lancaster Catholic is set to take on their familiar foe Pequea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
