The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will take on the Norcross Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pinecrest Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.7 goals per game this season.

Pinecrest Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Buford, who was ranked fourth at the time (Pinecrest Academy was ranked seventh). The Paladins took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wolves on Monday. The loss was Pinecrest Academy's first of the season.

Fia Del Balzo and Anna Broderson scored both of Pinecrest Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 35 goals.

Meanwhile, Norcross was not the first on the board two weeks ago, but they got there more often. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Blue Devils who were credited with the victory. Norcross got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Parkview's three. Winning may never get old, but Norcross sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pinecrest Academy fell to 16-1. As for Norcross, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
